Digg ~ The Man who Flies with the Fishes

May 5 is Children’s Day in Japan, a national holiday. In the weeks leading up to this day, large flags shaped like carp called koi nobori begin to appear, hanging from city apartment balconies, flying atop poles in farmhouse gardens, and strung in long lines across country rivers.

Finally I got to know what people call this piece of traditional art in Japan. It's called "koi nobori". It's been living in my Japanese childhood fantasy. I dreamed to have one... as a Japanese kid.

HOW TO STOP PEOPLE FROM BUGGING YOU ABOUT GETTING MARRIED

Old aunts used to come up to me at weddings, poking me in the ribs and cackling, telling me, 'You're next.' They stopped after I started doing the same thing to them at funerals.

Funny joke ~ 3 women

3 women: one engaged, one married, and one a mistress, are chatting about their relationships and decide to amaze their men....that night all three will wear a leather bodice S&M style, stiletto's and mask over their eyes.

After a few days they meet again.....

The engaged girlfriend: 'the other night, when my boyfriend came back home, he found me with the leather bodice, 12 cms stilettos and mask. He saw me he said: 'you are the woman of my life, I love you'...then we made love all night long

The mistress: Ah! me too, the other night I met my lover in the office and I was wearing the leather bodice, mega stilettos, mask over my eyes and a raincoat, when I opened the raincoat... he did not say anything.....but we had wild sex all night

The married one: 'the other night I sent the kids to stay at my mothers for the night, I got myself ready: leather bodice, super stilettos and mask over my eyes....my husband comes back from work, opens the door and says:

'Hi Batman, what's for dinner?'

Digg ~ First pic of Wii Rock Band white drum kit

Harmonix unveils Wii-exclusive drum kit and answers your nagging questions about the upcoming version of Rock Band...
Alright! It's not usual that I get excited when I read about some new product releases but this one surely did it. I've always wanted to try hitting some drums in a band (and I've never been in one). I gotta admit that I've never been good in playing musical instruments but I have the confidence and excitement (what else is lacked?) to try it again on drum-hitting. Well, for now, I could only imagine that I'm playing for the songs How Far We've Come (performed by Matchbox Twenty) or I Don't Love You (My Chemical Romance) every time I indulge myself into it.

And Wii? That'll be another big toy for me. Well... seems like I've got many items on my wish list now. When am I gonna realize them? I guess won't be too long. Hehe...

I Am Legend ~ Alternate ending

There's the scene that's been missing in the cinema but seen in the trailer. Both endings send the same message in one way or another: these's a hope in the end. But I personally prefer the first ending as Will has become the real legend to meet the fans' expectations. People love heroes. Ain't that right? ;)

Come shout together with me (for Malaysians only): Malaysia BOLEH!

This morning, I was looking in MSN Encarta (my favorite online dictionary) for the word "blur". And it's the verb that I was looking for.

After I found its verb, I scrolled down to read the rest of the page. And I was stunned (just like being stunned in the game Titan's Quest) to see the definition of its adjective.

I felt privileged (as a Malaysian) and amused (as a Malaysian, too) at the same time. I mean, is the word "blur" not used in other places other than Malaysia to describe the feeling that we all Malaysians understand very well? And I think MSN Encarta missed out another definition. How about the definition for "blur-blur"? Example usage: "Eh, why you look blur-blur this morning? Yesterday curi ayam arr?"

Funny comic ~ Playing Solitaire at work

So now everyone understands how important computers are to our daily lives...

Joke Time ~ Nude Runner

A woman was having a daytime affair while her husband was at work. One wet and lusty day she was in bed with her boyfriend when, to her horror her husband pulled into the driveway.

"Oh my God - Hurry! Grab your clothes and jump out the window. My husband's home early!"
"I can't jump out the window ~ It's raining out there!"
"If my husband catches us in here, he'll kill us both!" she replied. "He's got a hot temper and a gun, so the rain is the least of your problems!"

So the boyfriend scoots out of bed, grabs his clothes and jumps out the window!

As he ran down the street in the pouring rain, he quickly discovered he had run right into the middle of the town's annual marathon, so he started running along beside the others, about 300 of them. Being naked, with his clothes tucked under his arm, he tried to blend in as best he could.

After a little while a small group of runners who had been watching him with some curiosity, jogged closer.

"Do you always run in the nude?" one asked.
"Oh yes!" he replied, gasping in air. "It feels so wonderfully free!"
Another runner moved along side.
"Do you always run carrying your clothes with you under your arm?"
"Oh , yes" our friend answered breathlessly. "That way I can get dressed right at the end of the run and get in my car to go home!"
Then a third runner cast his eyes a little lower and queried, "Do you always wear a condom when you run?"

"Nope.........just when it
's raining......"

CNY'08

Just back from my long Chinese New Year holidays spent at hometown. This could be one of the least enjoyable CNY ever for me. I couldn't get away from my works! Ya... I guess they're right. I should have learned how to turn off my mobile while I was having my break. But sorry... this is over for me...

Time passed swiftly during this CNY. When I realized it, I was already on my way back to PJ. And on my way back, I fetched my buddy who was taking a flight back to Cambodia for work. Although the night before I was back to home around 3a.m. after a drunkenly joyful night in the city, I happened to be quite alive again to take the long journey in the next morning. Isn't it ironical? To feel dead when I started my vacation and back to living again when it ended? :S

So? That means I'm feeling alive because I can still feel the pain~ Right, dude?

老兄:「Oh!How come!I read it from yellow page。 See, here is the phone number,『sex-sex-sex two-sex-one-free』。」

Houston... Houston... I'm going down...

Last week was really traumatic to me. Apart from getting my 1st ever summon (ya, the 1st one), I've been totally distressed at work. First, I got sick. Second I got to work despite sick. I admit that it was partially because I forced myself to. But instead of doing that, it didn't seem to have an alternative for me.

I worked on holiday and weekend also in standby mode at home. I'm coughing like my body is moaning that I've gone beyond my limit. I'm doing all this for myself? Now my body is showing the answer to me. I'm really tired of everything... and everyone that I've been trying to bear with. I need to learn more than getting up after fell down. Now wait what my mind tells me next? An action will be done.

(The Great) Escape from Summons

This morning, when I was ready to take my breakfast at home after self-decoration, I looked out to my car parked alongside the road. Then I saw a hardworking policeman was taking out his summons pad from his uniform to get ready for summoning cash (that's what summons are for) from the car owners who had parked at the roadside.

My first response was just stunned. Then came the hard decision whether I should grab a few packets of biscuits for my breakfast or to hustle down to drive my innocent car away (yes, it's really a hard decision). After a minute of pondering, I flew (it's different from "jumped" in Chinese) down from my apartment. When I got out from my apartment area, gosh... it ain't just one guy but four!! I picked up my pace and hopped into my car and started the engine to drive away. And when I did that, the good policeman was giving ticket to the car parked just in front of me...

Come on... it's an apartment area (though just close enough). And it's damn early in the day. What do you people expect wo? Haih, looks like I need to go out earlier tomorrow onwards until I got my car park slot inside the apartment area (it's damn $$$ leh).

Another favourite catastrophe movie

This noon I just went to watch this movie I Am Legend alone (just like the charm in this movie :D). It's starred by Will Smith who also played in the movie Independence Day (yet another catastrophe movie :P).

According to an interview with him, he explained that this movie is about being all alone in this world after a virus catastrophe had taken place. Even in the movie poster itself, I found the word ALONE is right behind his role character. He also stressed that many things we can see in this movie is about how a person could manage to survive all by oneself in a totally isolated space. He did exercise everyday in the morning, played golf game, watched recorded tapes on TV, and talked to the air. It's all about a schedule.

There's a scene in the movie that I was touched deep down to my heart (and with tears). It was when he spent the last minutes with his only companion - a dog given by his daughter to "protect" his dad before she left him forever. It was so beautiful.
